During my research I found that among the world’s wealthiest countries, the U.S. ranks last when it comes to Infant Mortality rates. The reason we seem to be lacking is because we don’t have enough information or resources for new parents. I researched what the top countries were doing different, which lead me to look into Finland and their baby box program.

 

The goal of my exhibition is to raise awareness to this issue that we have in our country and to provide a potential solution and brand it my way to market to the U.S. While the baby boxes got their start in Finland and are nothing new, I’m hoping that my branding will be a unique take on an old but helpful remedy to one of our country’s problems.
